BONNIE

Hi! My Name Is BONNIE

I'm Available

If you've ever thought, "I just want a good dog" — Bonnie would like to submit her résumé.

At 4.5 years old, this Plott Hound/Mountain Cur mix has skipped right past the chaotic puppy era and landed squarely in the sweet spot: still young enough to have plenty of good years ahead, settled enough to be an absolute dream to live with. She's medium-sized, beautifully mannered, and refreshingly chill in a way that feels almost unfair.

Bonnie doesn't need to be the center of attention. She doesn't need constant stimulation or a packed social calendar. She just wants to know what you're doing — and quietly join you. Going to the kitchen? She'll supervise. Folding laundry? She'll monitor. Watching TV? She'll settle in nearby like a warm, steady presence and stay exactly there until you move.

She keeps herself occupied with toys and bones, walks politely on leash, and has the kind of house manners that make guests ask if she's always like this. (She is.) Outside is her happy place — nose down, tail up, taking in the world one scent at a time.

She's not flashy. She's not chaotic. She's steady, loyal, and deeply content just being someone's dog.

Oh — and she has a standing date with Bridgerton. Her foster mom discovered she settles beautifully with it on in the background, and now it's basically non-negotiable. Her future family should plan accordingly. 👑

🏡 The Ideal Furever Home

Bonnie would thrive as the only dog in the home. While she can be selective with canine friends, she doesn't need other dogs to feel fulfilled — her person is more than enough. She's looking for somewhere she can bond deeply, settle into routine, and be someone's quiet, constant companion.

Her perfect furever home? Someone who loves a dog that's always nearby but never underfoot. Bonus points if Bridgerton is already in your streaming queue.

A Quick Health Note

Bonnie has completed heartworm treatment and is doing beautifully — she handled the whole thing like the resilient queen she is. She will need to stay on heartworm prevention going forward, which is something all dogs should be on anyway. She's also spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea/tick prevention. She is fully ready for her next chapter
