*NOTE: Bowdyn's wonderful foster family plans to adopt her once she finishes her heartworm treatment.* Hello, my names Bowdyn and I promise I’ll be your new best friend. I like my playtime but I also like to snooze on the couch with my Foster Mom. She says I’m pretty good at walking on my leash and I even walk myself sometimes. I can be a little shy at first but give me a day and I’ll be giving you kisses in no time. I do like to stay in my kennel when I’m home alone but I can be trusted to be left free in the house. I also love playing with my toys; the squeaky ones are my favorite. My Foster Mom also keeps telling me that I’m such a good listener. I love my belly rubs and ear scratches. Sometimes I’m nervous around strangers but with time and reassurance I will warm up. I’m fully house trained and am learning some basic commands. I’m ready for my forever home and I’m sure we’ll be best of friends! Bowdyn is undergoing life saving treatment for heartworms and will be available once she completes her treatment in July.  Bowdyn is a female Basenji/Cattle Dog mix, weighs 42 lbs and was born approximately 10-1-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
