Hello! My name is Brownie! I am an 8 year old male Golden Retriever mix. I am the friendliest, happiest guy you will ever meet! I love kids and all dogs I’ve met so far (not tested with cats). Really, I love everyone. I am very well mannered, I don’t jump and I know sit and shake. I really just want someone to pet me and give me attention. I am a very chill dog, though I do love to occasionally play and romp with my furry foster sister. Oh- and I love to chase bunnies! But, after that, I love a comfy dog bed to nap on. I am housebroken, love walks, and love being around people. If you want a chill, friendly guy to share your home with, I’m it! Brownie is going through heartworm treatment so will be available for adoption mid-October. Brownie is a Golden Retriever mix, weighs 56 lbs and is about 8 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed. Brownie is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventive for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
