My name is Buckwheat! Yep…you read that right. I’m part of the Little Rascal puppies. I’m looking for a family to call my own. I like to be close to my humans and will sometimes snuggle. I am currently working on potty training. I like to chew on things since I’m teething and especially like tennis balls. My foster dad says my fur is super soft. My foster family consists of two medium dogs and an extra large dog. He doesn’t really appreciate me in his face trying to be friends. Oh and there is a cat that I'm not sure what kind of mystical creature that is, but he's interesting, I wonder if he'll play with me. I like to run with my foster dogs in the yard. Sometimes they alert me that there is someone walking by so we need to check it out. I'm ready for lots of new adventures with people of my very own!

Buckwheat is a growing male Black Lab (mix) who was born approximately 1-3-24. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick and heartworm preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $650 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
