Buddy is a lovable, fun-loving boy with a striking brindle coat and the sweetest, most soulful eyes. He adores people and gives the best hugs, always ready to be your giant lap dog. While he enjoys playtime and has plenty of energy for zoomies, he’s just as happy curling up on the couch for a cozy cuddle session. Buddy would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention, but he’s been great about ignoring cats. We’ve promised him a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will keep your heart warm and your yard free of squirrels, Buddy is your guy!
Buddy came into rescue after spending nearly 8 months in a small, rural shelter in Missouri. His owner had been incarcerated and no one came for him.
Buddy is a male Great Dane/Plott Hound who was was born approximately 12-16-18 and weighs 91 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
