Casey is an adorable little lady who wants nothing now than to love and be loved. She follows her foster mom everywhere and wants to be close to the people she trusts, but is still very shy about giving and receiving affection. She loves when it happens, but cowers when she sees your hand come near her. Once she realizes it's a kind hand, she relaxes. Casey knows her name, has had zero accidents in the house, is good on a leash (harness preferred), she is so patient with the other animals and waits her turn for snacks. She will sleep on the bed all night, but prefers a dog bed next to the human bed. She will also make sure you are never flushed down the toilet by keeping you company in your bathroom endeavors. Casey has not been tested with big dogs or children. She is not fond of the cats, but is tolerant. She is very good with little dogs and mostly ignores them. Casey needs a home with an understanding human. Casey is very nervous and may not be a snuggle bug right away, but sometimes she'll jump up next to you to watch a true crime documentary (or RuPaul's Drag Race). She's looking for a quiet, laid back home with many fewer critters than at her foster mom's. (Casey is one of 8 there and the youngest dog.) Please someone, heal this sweet girl's heart.
Casey is a Norfolk Terrier/mix who was born approximately 5-7-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
