Hi, my name is Champagne, my foster mom sometimes calls me Champ but honestly, I just don’t mind what you call me as long as you’re nice and gentle. I had a sister, Chablis, that came with me but she already found her furever home and from what my foster mom says it’s pretty awesome! I hope I can get one soon too! I like being with my foster mom and furry foster sisters and brothers but it will be so great when I can start my new life with my furever people! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I really had a tough time at first in my foster home cuz my sister and I were left behind when our family moved and we had to find food all by ourselves and that was really hard cuz all we could find was birdseed in bird feeders and it didn’t really help us, we got really skinny. Dolly’s scooped us up and now we’re happier and healthier. I had a really hard time trusting and I was pretty scared when someone came over to me. I feel so much better now cuz I know my foster mom won’t ever hurt me so I trust her more now than at first. I love other dogs and I’m with 2 cats too but I thought the cats would play with me and they didn’t want to so I was taught a lesson and got a scratch on my nose but now I know I need to ask nicely to play so we are getting along pretty good now. I am kennel trained and I really like my kennel cuz it’s just mine and it’s my special place to rest. I’m pretty good at the potty training but I haven’t really figured out how to actually say when I want to go out but when I’m out, I know what it means when my foster mom says “go potty” and I try to do what she says. At first, I liked to climb over the 4 foot chain link in the way back but my foster mom took me out on a leash after that, I didn’t really like that cuz I couldn’t run all over like the other foster dogs. After a week I earned her trust and now she lets me out without it but still comes out with me. I will need a 6 foot fence cuz I’m really curious about other dogs and squirrels and people and bunnies… I really love to be petted a lot. I usually lay on my back to show I am super submissive but the more I trust you, the better I will get about that. Please think about adding me to your family!! I am really anxious to start my new furever life with you! *6 foot privacy fenced yard or acreage required, large breed or Great Pyrenees experience highly recommended. Champagne is a Great Pyrenees, weighs 57 lbs and was born approximately 10-10-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative.  Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
