I'm a big ol' teddy bear who wants to be with you wherever you go! I love to take long naps, get head scratches and belly rubs. I give the very best hugs and kisses! If you take me on short strolls through the neighborhood I will walk so nicely on my leash. I am completely potty trained and absolutely love to be brushed and groomed from head to toe. I do however like to be the only dog in the house and am picky with who my furry friends are, so a home where I can rule the roost is best for me. Since I'm such a big guy, older kids are best as I might topple over little ones under the age of 10. I require a giant breed experienced home that knows how to care for me as well as a fenced yard to keep me safe. I do not like to be left alone so a person who is home the majority of the time will be a must. I cannot be crated as I had a traumatic experience with them. I really am such a good boy who deserves to have the happiest of homes. Chance came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. He had been surrendered by his family because "he got too big". Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.Chance is a male St. Bernard, weighs 115 lbs (we are working on putting weight on him, he came to us very thin) and was born approximately 6-1-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
