Charli here is one of the most sweet and gorgeous girls who loves, and we mean LOVES attention. She is a big, fluffy, lap dog and will plop right in your lap to soak up as much attention as she can get. With Charli’s breed and coat, she will need a family that will take her in regularly for grooming to keep her fur healthy and avoid knotting. Charli not only loves people but does great with other dogs as well. A plus is that she is a perfect princess on the leash. She is also very smart. Due to Charli’s size and puppy demeanor, we are requiring that she go to a home with kids over the age of 10. At times Charli will also mouth hands, but very gently to initiate love when she feels she isn't getting enough. The amount of love and attention this sweet girl has for humans will just melt your heart.
Requirements to adopt Charli:
*Prefer experience with this breed, or a breed that requires regular grooming; will need groomer reference on application
*Needs a person or family that doesn't mind dog slobber & lots of puppy kisses, and dog on your lap at every opportunity!
*Charli would love another dog to match her delight of romping & playtime
Charli came into rescue after being found as a stray in rural Oklahoma & never reclaimed from the shelter after a two week stay there.
Charli is a female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier who was born approximately 5-1-22 and weighs 52 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
