COAL

Hi! My Name Is COAL

We're happy to tell you that COAL has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Coal is an affectionate and sweet boy looking for his furever home. His hobbies include naps, eating, window watching, stealing socks, cuddling, and chew toys. Since most of his young life has been spent outdoors, he is still learning all of the wonderful things a home has to offer. Coal can be timid in new places and around new people, but doesn't take too long to warm up. He loves to play and cuddle and just be near his humans. Coal loves to romp and wrestle with his foster brother, but it's not necessary for him to have a furry friend. He has been great with every dog he's met! He hasn't met any felines yet, but can be cat tested if need be. Coal does love to be outside and explore his foster's backyard so a fenced in yard would be ideal. He is doing great at potty training, and is learning how to let the humans know when it's time to go out. Coal is crate trained so mark that off the to do list, but he has proven to be trustworthy when left out for short stints. He will sleep in his crate, but would much rather be near his humans in case you're wanting to give pets or kisses. He LOVES getting pets! Coal has been doing well with leash training, there are so many good smells in Nebraska! Coal did great with the small humans he has met, but since he's still a puppy, he still needs some training to be the best dog he can be. If you're willing to give this sweet boy a chance and some love, he will be sure to reward you with lots of snuggles and kisses!

Coal came into rescue from Oklahoma where he & his siblings were found abandoned in a box along a country road.

Coal is a growing male Lab/Pointer mix puppy (our best guess of breeds) who was born approximately 9-10-22. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention.
