CONGO

Congo, aka Tigger, is a beautiful and very sweet pup! His stripes and loving amber eyes draw attention from everyone he meets. He is a little shy, as he is still getting used to the world. But, once he feels comfortable with you, he shows extreme loyalty. Though a little timid with new people, he doesn’t show any fear or aggression, and will slowly warm up to people if allowed to do so at his pace. Tigger loves going on walks, meeting other dogs, and going after all the pesky squirrels in the neighborhood. He doesn’t appear to be territorial of his food or toys. He is also very quiet, as he has only barked a few times in the past two weeks. He is also perfectly happy in his crate and does not whine or misbehave when left alone. He goes by Tigger because of his beautiful stripes and because, when he gets excited, he stands up on his back legs and bounces! Congo is a Chocolate Labrador/Mountain Cur mix, weighs 33 lbs and was born approximately 10-29-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
