Cookie is a happy, energetic girl with a big heart and a love for attention. She’s working on her manners and learning not to jump up, but her eagerness just comes from wanting to be close to her people. Cookie is making progress on leash walks—especially when she can follow her sister’s lead—and she absolutely melts for tummy rubs and snuggles. She gets along well with other dogs, though cats may not be her cup of tea. Because she can be a little distracted on leash, a fenced yard would be ideal to help her focus and get her potty breaks in. Sweet, affectionate, and full of life, Cookie is ready to bring love and joy into her forever home.

Cookies is a growing female Catahoula Leopard Dog/Basset mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 2-12-25 and weighs 25 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
