CORNDOG

Hi, I’m Corndog and I’m looking for my people.  So you can know me a little, here are some things about me and what I like - the vet tells me I’m two years old and weigh 12 pounds.  I absolutely love people and am very affectionate.  If you like a lap dog, I’m your guy!  I also like to give kisses and hugs.  I like the same from my humans.  My foster mom has been working with me but I do need  some training on commands.  She tells me I’m pretty smart and I will do my best to learn quickly.  Besides humans, I like dogs, size doesn’t scare me if they seem friendly.  Haven’t had a chance to visit with any cats yet so I don’t know about them.  Same with kids although I can’t imagine not liking them since they are human.  I love going on my walks and am good on a leash even though I like to take the lead.  I find it hard to stay right by my foster mom’s side.  Too many things to smell!!!  I love the dog run.  I get to stretch my legs and visit with pals.  I would really enjoy a fenced yard but, if you don’t have one, I can adjust.  I would say I’m mostly potty trained although I haven’t figured out how to tell my foster mom when I have to go.  She just lets me out several times a day and then we have our walks where I do my duty.  I will have to work on this also.  I do sleep all night in my kennel but I would love to share my human’s bed since I’m a cuddle bug.   I need some work on voluntarily going into my kennel during the day.  I don’t like it very much when my foster mom has to leave the house and I have to kennel myself.  I think I will get used to it though after some time working with me.  I like to play with toys but, it is new to me so I only have one favorite toy right now.  If I say so myself, I’m a great little fellow and would love to meet you. Corndog is a Chiweenie, weighs 12 lbs and is a year or two old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative.
