Deacon is a sweet and gentle boy with a calm, affectionate nature who’s eager to shower his future family with love. Active and playful, he enjoys making friends with other dogs and is working hard on learning his manners. He’s already mastered kennel training and is making great progress with housetraining. Deacon gets excited to see his people but does his best not to jump, showing just how thoughtful he really is. What he dreams of most is a cozy couch to cuddle on, plenty of treats, and a family to share all his love with. Deacon will need a home where he will get to go on lots of adventures including daily exercise such as walks, dog parks, and outside romp time. Apartment life would not suit him.

Deacon came into rescue with his two siblings, Daria & Duke, after being surrendered by their owner to a crowded shelter in Missouri. They needed a safe place to land due to the crowded conditions and low adoptions at the shelter, and made their way to Dolly's Legacy.
Deacon is a growing male Anatolian Shepherd/mix puppy who was was born approximately 6-14-25. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
