DELILAH

Hi! My Name Is DELILAH

We're happy to tell you that DELILAH has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
I'm Delilah, but my foster mom calls me "Lilah". Lots of people tell me that I'm a pretty girl. I'm all white and have soft fur. My eyes naturally have eyeliner! I look mostly like a Lab, but one vet thought I might be Great Pyrenees too! Even though I can be just a tad bit shy at first, I am a really friendly girl! Most of the time, I do a little wiggle and people pet me right away. Some people even have those long fingernails and scratch my back, which I love. I've never met a person who hasn't called me sweet. When we become friends, I love my tummy rubbed. When I get to go outside, I love to run and prance around. I like to know who is coming and going through my backyard, so I normally do the sniff patrol around the fence line to check for all the birds, squirrels, and foxes that are around the neighborhood. Sometimes I hear the other neighborhood dogs barking, but I don't usually respond. My foster mom and I play a game where she tries to chase me, but I'm too fast for her! When it's time to go inside, I always know there is a treat waiting for me. Inside the house, I mostly like to spend time on my comfy bed or laying on the carpet. I follow my foster mom around the house as she does the chores, though I haven't had the guts to try the stairs. They still scare me! With a little more courage, I know I can master the stairs in no time. I got over my fear of jumping up into the car, so this will just be one more thing I learn about house living. I've got house-training down though. I give my foster mom "the look" and she knows to let me outside to do my business. It's so nice to keep a clean house! I'd love to meet you and find my forever home! Delilah is a Labrador Retriever/mix, weighs 62 lbs and was born approximately 1-1-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative.
