My name is Dottie and I am a 5 year old French Bulldog who hasn’t had the best experiences in life but I am so excited to be in Nebraska to find my forever home and finally be able to give someone all of the love that fills up my tiny body every day! When I first arrived, I did not know what to expect and I shied away from everyone and everything. After a few days with m foster family I have blossomed, and I am so happy! I love the dogs and cats I am living with. They have taught me how to play and to be a dog. My foster mom says I don’t have a mean bone in my body! I am happy to see all people but I am still a little apprehensive and prefer when people get my attention before approaching me and let me give their hand a sniff and nudge, then I would love for you to pet me! I didn’t understand what a leash was when I first got here but I have become an expert in the last week. Even when I’m in the fenced in yard I don’t stray to far from my foster mom. I just really want to be around nice people, always! I have discovered that I love grass because it feels so good to roll around in! I would prefer to go to a quiet house, but I don’t mind children especially if they pet me. I would love to be around other dogs. I am crate trained and love a comfy dog bed. Stairs were a new challenge for me, but I have become an expert at going up and finally gave going down a try. I will keep practicing! I can’t wait to meet you and get to know you. Au revoir! Dottie is a French Bulldog, weighs 15 lbs and is about 5 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Dottie has suffered neglect and needs an experienced & patient adopter with a fenced in yard. Her ideal home would be a quiet one with not a lot of commotion. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
