Doug made himself right at home the second he walked in the door at his foster home. He is a gentle soul and will be a loving companion to anyone. He prefers a quieter home that would give him lots of attention. He loves a walk with lots of sniffing around. He walks on a leash like a pro and knows the command “sit”. He is house trained and can be left without kenneling for hours. His energy level is low/medium and he LOVES going on walks. His new family must take him for walks daily to keep him happy. He has lost some fur on his back probably due flea allergy when he arrived, but he has been treated and now hasn’t been scratching much since we gave him a bath and prescription topical spray to ease the itch. This boy really is a dream, he's pretty much perfect.
Doug came to Dolly's Legacy through a Nebraska shelter where he was surrendered after his mom passed away. She had even traveled with him to Costa Rica, he was her cherished companion & loved him dearly.
Doug is a Corgi/mix who weighs 35 lbs and was born approximately 3-1-14. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative.
