Duke is a playful and intelligent puppy who’s quickly winning hearts with his sweet personality. He happily soaks up belly rubs and kisses after pretending to initially be bashful. He’s doing well with his housetraining, learning commands quickly, and already walks nicely on a leash, enjoying calm strolls through the neighborhood. Duke adores other dogs of all sizes and has shown gentle curiosity toward kids he’s met on walks. He will need a home where he will get to go on lots of adventures including daily exercise such as walks, dog parks, and outside romp time. Apartment life would not suit him. With his long tail, big heart, and eager-to-learn spirit, Duke is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and plenty of puppy love to his forever family.

Duke came into rescue with his two siblings, Daria & Deacon, after being surrendered by their owner to a crowded shelter in Missouri. They needed a safe place to land due to the crowded conditions and low adoptions at the shelter, and made their way to Dolly's Legacy.
Duke is a growing male Anatolian Shepherd/mix puppy who was was born approximately 6-14-25. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
