Dusty is ready for a party at a moments notice. He has a nice rich coat that would be great for colder weather. He is a happy go lucky guy with a gorgeous blue eye. He would absolutely love to be with a family that spends a lot of time outdoors hiking etc. he is only a year old and is ready to live his life to its fullest. Dusty is a sweet boy that is eager to find his forever family to help rebuild his confidence after his last family surrendered him. He’s a young boy with LOTS of energy and curiosity. He also knows how to sit and shake and love kids. He bonded with his ten year old human foster sister the day he left the shelter and now sleeps in her bed. He also enjoys keeping his foster mom company all day while she works from home. He would likely love to be the only furry kid in the home so he can get all the attention to himself. Dusty needs and wants a committed human companion and would really benefit from having a job that keeps him busy, physically and mentally. Dusty came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Dusty is a male Catahoula Leopard dog/mix, weighs 53 lbs and was born approximately 1-5-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
