My name is Elsa, and my forever people or person should be looking for an easygoing girl with a super sweet disposition! I like to go about things at my own casual pace, which is why my foster mom says I’m "poky". I’m not a huge fan of walking on the leash, so I will need a home with a fenced yard so that I can romp around freely - no apartment life for me! I do enjoy playing with the other dogs in my foster home though and have been very respectful of the cats too. I can tell cats are different from me and that they don’t want to play, so I don’t bother them. I haven’t met any kids yet, it’s all adults in my foster home. I think noisy, little kids would make me nervous. Calm, older kids would be okay, I think. I love my foster parents though and am always ready to snuggle up with them. I’ve made friends with some of the neighbor adults too and will let them pet me after I’ve said everything I need to say to them first. I’ve been doing great with my potty training. My foster parents tell me to “go potty” when I go outside, and I understand and take care of business right away! I have also been getting really good with sitting and will always sit when I am told even if I don’t really want to. My foster mom says I like to “talk back,” but I just like to let her know that I’m doing what I’m told even if it’s not what I want to do. My foster mom also thinks it would be hard for someone not to love me – just look at my face! I’m an all-around precious pup and hope you will choose me!
Elsa is a growing female Yellow Lab/Great Pyrenees puppy who was born approximately 3-19-23. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed . Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
