My name is Elsa, and my forever people or person should be looking for an easygoing girl with a super sweet disposition! I like to go about things at my own casual pace, which is why my foster mom says I’m "poky". I used to think that I wasn’t a fan of walking on the leash, but since my foster family has switched me to a harness, it’s made all the difference! I am a very gentle walker and love getting to stretch my legs! I would love a family who could spoil me with lots of toys to chew. I'd really love a home with a fenced yard too, so I can romp around freely! I enjoy playing with the other dogs in my foster home, so it might be nice to have a dog sibling in my forever home. I get along fine with cats too. I can tell cats are different from me and that they don’t want to play, so I don’t bother them too much. I haven’t met an adult person I don’t love and am always grateful for some extra attention. I haven’t met any kids yet, but I think noisy, little kids would make me nervous. Calm, older kids would be okay, I think. I’ve been doing great about not going potty in the house. My foster parents tell me to “go potty” when I go outside, and I understand and take care of business right away! I am also good at “sitting” and know what it means to go to my “bed” or “kennel.” I stay in my kennel when my foster parents are at work, and I sleep in it at night. I don't complain – I know my time will come to get out and romp around again! I’m an all-around precious pup and hope you will choose me!
Elsa is a growing female Yellow Lab/Great Pyrenees puppy who was born approximately 3-19-23. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed . Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
