Felton is very active and playful. He is great with kids and loves every person he comes into contact with. He does well with other dogs...is always looking for someone to play with. Cats are a different story. He is not mean to them but he wants to play and doesn't understand why they don't want to play with him. In Felton's eyes everyone is his friend. We are requiring he go to a home with another dog able match his energy & willing to romp for hours (an old, slow dog will not do!), kids to play with, and a secure, fenced yard. Apartment life will not suit him. He is doing well with potty training. He will have an occasional accident. Felton loves his toys and can fetch. He is working on leash training but will need patience as he gets distracted easily. Felton is so happy and loves attention.. he would love to be a part of your family!
Felton is a growing male Border Terrier/Yorkie mix (our best guess of breeds) who weighs 8 lbs and was born approximatey 2-5-23. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
