FLUFFY

This handsome boy likes to take it slow… he’s a big boy with the demeanor of a lamb. Takes treats gently out of your hand and loves a head rub. He appreciates a patient human and warms up to women before men. He has shown no signs of aggression to adults, children or small dogs. Fluffy's life hasn't always been easy. He was abandoned along with his two brothers, Ralf & Chico, and he was the most timid of the trio. He has absolutely no meanness in him, he just becomes fearful with new people or situations. He is as gentle as can be & has never shown an ounce of aggression, he is just fearful not knowing if you will be kind to him. We have seen him begin to blossom in his foster home and it is such a beautiful thing to witness. He needs a compassionate home that will give him all the time he needs to feel secure. Fluffy likes running around the yard and will require a secure, fenced yard. He will occasionally play with a toy when he thinks no one is looking. He likes greeting dogs and would do best with a companion dog in the home who will befriend him. He has shown no indicators that he would not be good with cats, we just haven't introduced him to any. Sudden movements and noises will frighten him, so a home without kids or a lot of coming/going and new guests would be best for him. He has done great with housetraining and has no accidents as long as he is let out regularly (4 times a day). A calm, tranquil home would be heaven for our Fluffy. We are hopeful he will soon find his perfect forever.

Requirements to adopt Fluffy:

*Exceptional veterinary reference with responsible pet ownership history

*Needs experienced owner who will be compassionate, patient and encouraging

*Fenced yard: He loves being outside therefore a fenced yard is required.

*Calm, adult-only home; he is frightened by commotion & needs a peaceful environment

Fluffy is an English Shepherd mix that weighs 53 lbs and was born approximately 5-15-22. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
