Hi there I’m Frank and oh boy, it sure is good to meet you! I can be a bit shy with new people and dogs at first but I warm up quickly and my circle of friends is growing. I am at that perfect age where I have enough puppy left in me to make your life interesting for a while before I’m ready to settle down. I am affectionate, playful, and happy. I love being outside, playing with toys, and taking walks every day. I would probably make an awesome travel buddy because I love the great outdoors and exploring with my nose. A lot of things changed for me in a short amount of time and I’m doing my best to adapt, but I hope you can be patient with me while I figure things out. This is my first time living in a home and it took me a few days to feel comfortable being inside, but now I am very relaxed. Here are a few things I am learning in my foster home that I would love to keep working on with you: walking on a leash, basic obedience (I know sit really well now), and kennel training. I haven’t had any accidents to date but may need some training in a new environment. I am really smart and eager to please, so I learn things quickly. I must look like a Dalmatian because that’s what other people say when I’m out walking. They also call me handsome, whatever that means. In any case, I am a big sweetheart who loves to put my head on your lap and look at you with my big puppy eyes while you pet me. Frank is a male Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer mix pup, weighs 41 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 12-12-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
