Frank is an active and playful sweetheart who absolutely loves (reaalllly loves) the water! Give him a puppy pool or splashpad and he will be set for the summer! He adores everyone he meets—people, dogs of all sizes, and even cats! He’s currently being fostered alongside both dogs and a cat, and he’s doing wonderfully as he figures out feline friendships. This affectionate boy thinks he’s a lap dog, gives tons of kisses, and enjoys car rides almost as much as cuddles. He’s housetrained, has a long waggy tail, and is making great progress with his kennel training and leash manners. Frank hasn’t been tested with kids yet, but with his friendly personality, he’s sure to win hearts wherever he goes. He would LOVE a house with a fenced yard to romp freely in. A pool or frequent trips to the lake would be a dream come true for him!
Frank & his brother, Foggy, came to Dolly's Legacy from a rural shelter in Oklahoma after weeks of going unclaimed. Their time was running short there so Dolly's welcomed them into rescue in order to find forever homes.
Frank is a Retriever/Husky mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 7-24-24. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. He may have had some trauma to his right eye which caused slight scarring of his cornea, but you'd never know it, it for sure doesn't slow him down. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
