FRANKIE

This little Momma is ready to retire from her puppy making duties. Looking for a loving family that can give her snuggles and kisses, and she will return in abundance. She has a bodacious personality when she is feeling frisky and will do squirmy zoomies, when she wants to play. She settles and cuddles easily when prompted. Halloween was her 2nd day in her foster home and she handled the chaos with 7 grandchildren and scary costumes in the house with grace and charm. She adored the kids attention and cuddled with everyone in the house. She has quickly learned sit and her name. She does like to sneak out the front door when she sees an opportunity, but quickly returns when called. Frankie enjoys our fenced in back yard and has done well with other dogs at the dog park. ( we go in the little dog area only) She has never been kenneled here at her foster home, and respects all items that are not hers, when we are away. Occasionally we will find a baby doll from the toy stash that is not in original place when we return home, but never destroyed, she just likes to pick them up and set them next to where she is resting. She is very curious about the squirrels and occasional critter in the back yard and likes to chase, so not sure how she would do with cats as she has not been tested. She goes potty outside when let out and holds it all night, sleeping well on the couch or on a dog bed. When we have been gone for 7+ hours during the day, she waits until we return. Frankie would do well in a secured yard with another dog to play with and keep her company. She is still young enough to play hard, but old enough to cuddle and take naps with adults and/or children. Frankie is obedient, domesticated, humble and will roll over for a belly rub whenever you are willing to give one. She rarely barks, but will "talk" to you in that adorable Beagle/Basset language. This sweet girlie, has been giving pups her everything for long enough, it is her turn for love and affection and to have a home to call her own. She is easy to fall in love with and has stolen the hearts of both her foster Mom and Dad. Her excitement when we walk in the door brings joy and light to our home and will do the same for your family. Requirements to adopt Frankie:

*Must own a home with a fenced yard; no apartment

*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history

*Must be willing to give her time & patience to adjust to a new life

Frankie came into rescue with her two pups, Farley & Sadie. Frankie is a female Basset Hound/Beagle who was born approximately 2-2-20 and weighs 25 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
