FREESIA

When I was very little, I was dumped with my siblings in a parking lot in a box marked ‘Free Puppies’. When we were rescued, there were only four of us left. We weren’t quite healthy enough to make the trip to Nebraska right away, so we stayed in Oklahoma with our rescuers. Sadly, one of my sisters died from parvo. But we kept fighting to get healthy and strong and finally we made it to Dolly’s Legacy! It took me some time to settle into my foster home, but right away I showed my foster family how sweet and affectionate I am. Inside the house I like to stay close and help out where I can. My favorite chores are collecting dirty socks for laundry and loading the dishwasher. Outside I love to roam, sniff, and explore. I like toys okay, but I really prefer to have someone to play with me. My favorite thing to do is steal my brother Freeman’s toy then run away so he’ll chase me and play with me! I’ve been introduced to kids and although I’m not yet sure what to think about small humans, I will likely do fine with them. I accidentally met a cat and was curious about her and wanted to sniff, but backed off when she hissed at me. I may be timid when I first meet you, but it doesn’t take me long to open up. I’m proving that I can be a tough and strong girl even though I’m pretty small right now. Freesia is a growing female English Pointer mix puppy who was born approximately 7-1-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
