FRENCH DIP

Hi! My Name Is FRENCH DIP

We're happy to tell you that FRENCH DIP has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Hello! Would you like to hear my story? Well I was found abandoned near a sandwich shop with my six siblings in Oklahoma. Some pretty amazing people took care of us and told Dolly’s all about us. And how could Dolly’s say no to these faces?! We were all given sandwich names to honor this turning point in our lives. Now I am in Nebraska living in a foster home with two resident dogs and two other Dolly’s dogs, Twinkie and also my brother Philly. I love love LOVE him, he is the bestest and so cute (and fun to beat up)! My foster family says I am a busy pup. I love playing with toys, taking walks, and zooming around the yard. I love playing and snuggling with others, but I’m also fine going off and doing my own thing. I’ll entertain myself for a long time and go outside through the dog door on my own when I need to pee. Yes, I’m really that low maintenance! I keep my kennel clean and am working on being able to sleep through the night. Right now I’m pretty small, but I’m not at all intimidated by dogs four times my size. I’m very confident and a bit stubborn, however I’m learning to be respectful of the humans and other dogs in my foster family when they ask for space. I’m a little unsure about meeting new people at first, but if they have toys or treats for me then I know we can be friends. I would love to have another animal to be my friend, but that’s not a deal breaker. I bet you would love to play with me! PS - Yes, I am very cute (check out my forehead wrinkles), but as a bonus I am also very very soft! Here are some details for my forever family: I currently sleep in a 30” crate but would probably do fine in a 36” (and will definitely grow into it!). My neck measures 11” for collar size and my chest measures 18” for harness size. French Dip is a female Black Mouth Cur mix, weighs 12 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 5/9/2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, please complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/.  You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment.
