GARTH

Hi! My Name Is GARTH

We're happy to tell you that GARTH has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
My name is Garth, but maybe it should be Goliath, because I am a gentle giant. I could be a great dog to take to nursing homes or hospitals to brighten people’s lives. I am pretty laid back, but I love to run in the back yard. I've just recently got to my foster home and every day I feel a little more comfortable being myself. I love the foster girl siblings and I have loved every human I have met since coming to Nebraska. I would love a family of my own to hold hands with and cuddle. I am potty trained and I have not had any accidents in my kennel or the house. I know my commands and walk on a leash, but sometimes the circumstances are unsettling to me, as I’m still learning where I am. Yelling makes me want to hide in my kennel, and so does a lot of excitement, but I eventually come out. I am a shoe thief so you need to keep them put away. If you want a 60 pound lap dog, I am who you are looking for. Garth is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix that weighs 66 lbs and was born approximately 3-13-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, please complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment.
