Hi, my name is Gidget, but my foster mama calls me Gigi! I am all hound, all puppy, and all love! I haven't met a creature yet I don't love. I get along great with the dogs in my foster home, and while I like to follow the cats around and sometimes bark at them when they won't play with me, I don't chase them or try to bite them. Since coming to Nebraska I have proven myself to be very smart and willing to learn. I'm doing SO well with potty training, I'm great at being in a crate if you are away, (if you are home I will let you know very loudly how sad I am not be with you) and if I'm getting into something I shouldn't or using my teeth in a way I'm not supposed to, I respond very quickly to gentle correction. I am very much a puppy so my body sometimes acts before my brain can think and I don't have a lot of coordination, so I probably shouldn't be around very small kids because I don't know my own size and strength. And even though I haven't met a kid yet, I do think they would be so fun to play with! I am also the biggest snuggle baby you will ever meet! There is nothing I love more in the whole world than curling up with my people, and I will do everything possible to be touching you at all times. I love sleeping in bed with my foster mama too. I curl up next to her pillow and sleep like a perfect puppy angel all night. As long as I have affection, attention, and maybe a nice chew toy, I'm happy! Gidget is a growing female Redbone Coonhound/mix pup born approximately 9-9-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
