GORDON & LIBBY

**TWO FOR ONE BONDED PAIR! Gordon & Libby are a bonded pair that must be adopted together**  I'm Gordon, the long haired one. Libby has short black hair and she's my sister. We were sprung from a shelter in Texas where we were scared to death. It was loud & scary there, and we weren't sure we were going to make it out alive. Thank goodness Dolly's Legacy answered our cry for help & came to save us! When we got to our foster mom's house, we were very scared and nervous. She gave us a crate to go to if we needed a secure place to settle down, which we do a lot. We like to hang out under a little table too because it makes us feel secure. We are still pretty scared because up until now, life wasn't all that great for us. We sometimes have to be carried outside to go potty, or make a clear path so we can make a run for the yard. Once we are outside, we come alive! We love the fresh air and exploring all the sights & smells. Libby is a little less trusting than me but she's still such a good girl. Foster mom approaches us very calmly and speaks softly to us, then gently pets us. We are quiet and we don't bark. Our forever home will need to be patient with us, and be a quiet & calm place with lots of dog experience and most definitely a fenced yard. With enough time to adjust, I am confident we will settle in and learn to trust. Gordon is a male  that weighs 24 lbs and was born approximately 1-30-2016. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Libby is a female Patterdale Terrier/Doxie mix that weighs 16 lbs and was born approximately 1-30-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $350 as a pair to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
