HARPER

Hi! My Name Is HARPER

We're happy to tell you that HARPER has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Harper has been living the good life since the end of October. He is an adorable Boglen (Boston/Beagle) Terrier with the hind end of a Boston and the face and bark of a Beagle. Harper arrived as a breeder surrender and is nervous and timid around people--it will take time and patience for him to get comfortable and settled in his forever home. While there are three other dogs in his foster home, he has found comfort and friendship with the old lab. Harper likes to follow his buddy outside and around the yard, every so often he gets the zoomies. Harper has not been around cats or kids. Harper has had no leash experience prior to coming to Nebraska so he will start that at his foster home. Harper is working on potty training and is doing very well. Harper does not readily come to humans so there is lots of encouragement to be able to pet/hold him. Living in a home is all new for Harper so the sounds of a house are all something he is getting used to so a loud/rambunctious house is likely not the best fit for him. He really is the sweetest little fella, it's just going to take him time to trust.

Requirements to adopt Harper:

*Must have another dog as a companion

*Must own a home with a fenced yard; no apartment
