HARPER

Harper is the biggest wiggle butt around and is one of the happiest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of being around.She is definitely a gentle giant.She does fantastic with dogs of all sizes.....even the little 3 1/2 lb foster Morkie we had.They all jump on her and she just goes with it.She is potty trained and loves to sleep on the king size soft bed with her foster mom and dad. She does great walking on a leash and loves to go for car rides.She is great around children of all ages.She showed no interest in the cats the few times she was around them. She LOVES food and her foster mom and dad have learned they need to watch her or she will eat and eat and eat. Miss wiggle butt Harper is truly one of the best foster dogs her foster family has had. She will make an absolutely amazing addition to a very lucky family!Harper is a Pitbull Terrier/American Bulldog/mix, weighs 60 lbs and was born approximately 5-13-14. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She received life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
