I'm Hawthorne and I'm curious about everything! I have to sniff every inch to thoroughly inspect my surroundings. I love attention and want to be near my humans as much as possible. I'd really love a home where someone is home a lot like with a retired person. I do like other dogs but am not particularly playful so I'd kind of prefer to be the only pet in the home. I will also need a home without a lot of stairs as I just don't do well with those. I do have a thyroid condition and a seizure disorder that both require medication but I'm good at taking my medicine. I am otherwise a happy guy ready to find my forever home! Hawthorne is a black lab mix, weighs 70 pounds and was born approximately 12/6/2014. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
