Hi my name is Heidi! Have you ever heard the term “gentle giant?” I can tell you that I am quite a gentle giant and that my size is far more intimidating that my personality. I’ll tell you a bit about my personality, for one, I’m really ok with cats, a bit curious but not in an aggressive way and my current foster cat sisters and brothers are used to dogs but I do tend to freak them out since I am SO big but I get that and I will give them their space. I get along great with other dogs as well. I really love being inside but sometimes I just want to hang out in the backyard and sniff the air. There’s just so many different sights and sounds! There’s this game I like to play where I come to the door like I want to come in and when you open the door I run away and look back to see if anyone thought it was funny. I love to follow my foster mom everywhere when we’re inside, curious as to where she’s going. I'm really enjoying being in a warm and dry place and having a spot to sleep. I am housebroken and I haven’t been in a kennel/crate at all since I’ve been to my foster home. I’m just such a good girl. I sleep by the back door but it’s really so I can be the first one out when it’s time to go outside. I would really love to have a permanent home with a family. I haven’t really been around kids so I think I’d need to meet them and see how I would do with them but I love people, other dogs, and cats so I’m sure they would be fun, although they probably should be older (10+) since I'm a such a big girl. I want to have a nice safe, warm, and comfy place to call home where I’m loved. I hope that i can start off the new year with a loving family to live out my days. I’m a really sweet girl and would love to meet you! Heidi is a female Great Pyrenees, weighs 81 lbs and was born approximately 3-29-14.
