If you're looking for a snuggly best friend to cuddle up with you this winter, then Hershey just may be your gal. She is a 100% lap dog. She wants to be right by your side enjoying endless amounts of pets. Before Dolly’s rescued this sweet girl, her whole life she lived outdoor in a pen with many other pups. She had never even been inside a home before. Since entering rescue we have been showing her that not all humans are bad. We are currently working on potty training as she has always gone in the outdoor pen she lived in. Now that she is in a safe and warm home she is learning to go potty outside in the grass with the help of her other furry foster siblings. Hershey absolutely loves other dogs and just wants to shower them with kisses and have zoomies around the yard playing with toys. She is still learning basic commands such as sit & lay down. This girl can be quite picky when it comes to treats. She absolutely loves kids and would do great in a home with kids over 6. Since she is still a puppy something we’re working on is not chewing on things we’re not suppose to. When redirecting her and offering a toy instead, she listens very well. She has been doing great in her kennel. She won’t go in there by herself all the time but if you pick her up and put her in there with a nice fuzzy bed and a toy, she is very content. She will even sleep throughout the night without making a peep. She would even be a great cuddle buddy in bed. Hershey is learning about being a dog and one thing she has started learning to enjoy is car rides. She loves to sit in your lap and look out the window. Hershey here has been through a lot in her short amount of lifetime and she deserves to find her special family for the holidays. Requirements to adopt Hershey:

*Must have another dog as a companion

*Must own a home with a fenced yard; no apartment

*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history

*Must be willing to give her time & patience to adjust to a new life

Hershey came into rescue as a breeder release. Hershey is a male Beagle/Boston Terrier mix puppy who was born approximately 5-24-22 and weighs 15 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
