HICKORY

I’m a social butterfly who is ready to spread his wings. I’m looking for an active family that will make me part of their fun. I have a lot of energy and love to play fetch and tug of war. I love to go on walks and use my nose. I’m good on a leash. At the end of the day when we are all tired, I will be your best snuggle buddy. I love kisses, laying on the couch, and sweet reassurances of what a good boy I am! I like to sleep near my humans, and so far I have been scared of a kennel. I am still a puppy and act like a puppy, so I will need some help learning the house rules. My foster mom got me something called a bison horn, and I sure do love to chew on that! I am almost house trained, but I occasionally have an accident. If you look deep into my eyes, I know you will be patient with me because I am all heart! I really long to make you happy. I’ve had kind of a rough start to my life, but I am strong and courageous. I have survived a lot, now all I need is YOU! Hickory is a Beagle/Hound mix, currently weighs 31 lbs  and was born approximately 10-1-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $425 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
