HUGSY

Hi folks, my name is Hugsy, and there’s a reason for that, I LOVE to hug! I have a brother and a sister, Mugsy and Sola. I’m super bff’s with my brother Mugsy though, in fact we share our kennel at my foster mom’s cuz we hate being separated right now. I don’t really mind my kennel, so I’m kennel trained. I’m house trained as long as I get to go out regularly to do my business. My foster mom says I just need to stop jumping up but I really want to hug her, like as much as I can. I still promised her to try hard not to jump and we’re working on that. I love to be petted and loved and get tons of attention, I didn’t get that before Dolly’s rescued me. I came up from Oklahoma with my brother Mugsy and sister Sola. We’re lucky cuz we’re all in the same foster home together. I have lots of hope that I’ll get a really awesome home and family! I really love playing and toys are my favorite but I’ll need the kind that can’t be chewed up quick cuz my foster mom says we go through toys like crazy so she gave me some tougher ones. I get along really good with all the dogs I’m here with and there are even cats here but sometimes I get a bit rough with them and they swat me (I get the message) so I just mostly play with the other dogs, especially the other foster puppies here. My foster mom tells me a lot that I’m really a good girl, that makes me feel so good cuz I just want to be a good girl and be loved, I try really hard! I have what’s called a cherry eye right now but Dolly’s is going to get that fixed for me. I can’t wait cuz it’s not very comfortable. Once that is done and I get spayed, I’ll be ready for a new family and a new life. I promise I’ll be a really, really good girl I will just need patience to go through my puppy time and learn really good manners. I’m super smart so I’ll learn quick! Please consider me, you’ll really like me a lot! Hugsy is a sweet Retriever mix girl who weighs 40 lbs and was born approximately 12-2-19. She is spayed (also have her cherry eye repaired), vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
