ICELYN

Hi my name is Icelyn!  I get told quite often that I’m the most laid-back gal anyone has ever met. I just LOVE people. They are so sweet always giving me compliments about my ice blue eyes and my silky soft fur. I attach myself to my master and will be at your heels as much as I'm allowed. One of my favorite things to do during the day is to lay in a cool spot of the house and soak in what’s going on outside in the world. When dogs walk pass, I will give out a few barks to say hi, but otherwise I don’t talk very much. I really enjoy soaking up all the attention. I will lay down and look at you with my pretty eyes to get pets. Works every time! I do enjoy going on walks, but don’t need to run a marathon. I do great with other dogs that are as mellow as I am. I’m just an older gal and enjoy spending time relaxing. I am also potty trained and enjoy sleeping in my playpen. I won’t even make a peep. I wouldn't like apartment living and hope to have a home with a big fenced yard for me to run freely in. Kids tend to make me nervous, so I would do best in a home with adults. If you are laid back like me and would love someone to cuddle with you and take with you on strolls through the park I could be the perfect dog for you. Icelyn came from rural southern Oklahoma where she was found as a stray and never reclaimed. The only way she would make it out of the shelter alive was to be rescued as they do not have any volunteer or adoption programs in their rural animal control facility. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Icelyn is a female Australian Shepherd, weighs 58 lbs and was born approximately 2-19-14. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $150 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
