Ivy is never not smiling, her tail is always going, and her nose is consistently in overdrive, unless she's sleeping. Otherwise, it's smile...wag....sniff all day long! Ivy is good with dogs and enjoys playing and romping even. 
She LOVES people, especially kids. She will be persistent about co-sleeping as she doesn't like to be away from her people.
She has a favorite mini pillow she likes to toss around and chew on. She excels at brain games, but isn't really picking up being taught tricks. She's in her world and we just live in it.
She  can go up to 6 hours without an accident.
We recommend a home with a hound-savvy person. She'll require all food items to be locked up and out of reach as well as trash. Her nose gets her in trouble.
She appreciates looking out an unobstructed window - blinds and curtains will be moved to accommodate her 😅
She is a ton of fun and will be a great companion for an active family.
Ivy is not good with cats and due to her breed instincts, she gives chase, and she is fast. She also does not appreciate the company of horses.
All things said, Ivy is true to the Coonhound breed, and needs a home that understands her particular quirks and needs.

Ivy is a female Coonhound, weighs 62 lbs and was born approximately 8-1-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She was provided life-saving heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative. She was retested 6 months post-treatment and was found to be heartworm free. Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
