Jellybean has endured more than any pup ever should. When we first rescued him, he was nearly hairless from the mange that had ravaged his tiny body. His skin was painful, oozing & inflamed. He required months of treatment to get his skin treated, but now he has a full beautiful coat with adorable spots! Just when we thought he was out of the woods medically, he began to show a pronounced limp. We discovered he either had a birth defect that was just showing as he grew, or he had fractured his femur and it healed improperly. He is on restricted activity which is positively no fun for a pup who wants nothing more than to play, play, play. Poor guy has to take it easy until our vet can determine if he will need orthopedic surgery. Please keep this little guy in your thoughts & send healing vibes his way! Jellybean is a Pointer/Beagle/Cattle Dog born approximately 7/18/19 and weighed 18 lbs at last vet visit (but still growing). He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed & given flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
