JESSIE

Jessie is a young mother who was retired from a breeder and is loving life now as a rescue girl. She has taken to stairs, ramps, soft beds and blankets like she was made for them. In under a day, she was sleeping in her foster's lap and firmly asleep on the human bed. She is still learning about where and when to potty, but she's so smart, her foster mom knows she'll get it (and that's why there are washable rugs!). She's still decompressing and only starting to show her true personality, which is sweet. She's a dilute dapple dachshund with a very playful side. She is still baffled by toys, but does like plushies. She's obsessed with cats, which confuses the cats who are used to dogs being indifferent or jealous of them. But Jessie wants to play with them. More so than the dogs, but her resident foster dog siblings are teaching her to "dog." Jessica is a huge fan of the "snuggle pile."

Jessie is a female Dachshund who weighs 10 lbs and was born 1-2-20. She will be spayed prior to adoption, is vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
