Hi, I'm Johnny Cash, but you can call me Lover Boy cause I love everyone and everything! Well, except maybe the kennel....but I've been such a good boy at my foster home that I don't usually have to be in there! I love every person and dog I've met, even those that are walking by the house! I'm just sure they want to play and pet me! Actually, I love getting pets most of all! I haven't met any cats yet, but my foster mom thinks I would do pretty good with them, especially if they want to snuggle me. I love snuggling! I'll sleep all night on the floor next to your bed, but sometimes I like to sneak in the bed so I can be near my humans! Shh, don't tell! I also love to be outside, so a fenced in yard where I can explore to my hearts content would be AWESOME! I like to romp around out there with my foster brother, but it would be okay if I'm the only dog too. I'm still learning my manners, but sometimes I'm just so excited to see my humans that I jump so it's probably best if there aren't any tiny humans in my furever home. I wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose, I just want love and pets! Do you have love and pets to give, cause if you do, I might be just the boy for you!  Johnny Cash came from rural southern Oklahoma where he was found as a stray and never reclaimed. The only way he would make it out of the shelter alive was to be rescued as they do not have any volunteer or adoption programs in their rural animal control facility. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he's ready for a new chapter with a forever home.Johnny Cash is a male Pointer/Lab mix, weighs 48 lbs and was born approximately 3-1-17. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
