Judge Judy or "JJ" for short is a gentle & calm friend who likes to lay around either in her kennel or next to her people once she gets to know them. JJ is timid at first but once she knows that she is safe she is wagging her tail and asking for pets. JJ loves to lay around but also enjoys walks with her person around the yard. She prefers to be in a fenced yard rather than leashed, so would be best to go to a home where she has free roam of a yard. Best ways to describe JJ: calm, easy-going, not pushy, gentle, couch potato (especially when it's cold outside!). JJ is working on sit. She is smart and could learn more commands. JJ is currently an only pet and doing fine. She is very calm and likes cuddling with me or hanging in her kennel with the door open. That being said, she enjoys playing and running with other dogs so would love to go to a home that has a doggy friend for her, or she would be content as an only furchild. JJ sleeps overnight in her kennel with no accidents. JJ can go 6 plus hours with out being kenneled. If you've been looking for a calm, friendly Lab mix, JJ is for you!
Judge Judy is a female Retriever/Border Collie mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 1-29-23 and weighs 42 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
