KADE

Kade is such a sweetheart. Despite still being a puppy, he has room for manners. He has never caused an issue in his foster family’s home, well… except for maybe stealing slippers. He’s easy-tempered, doing so well with children as young as three years old. He doesn’t jump on people, but quite possibly the kitchen table if he smells something good cooking. He’s a healthy eater, not at all picky. And boy can this gentlepup walk on a leash! He loves everyone, people, dogs, but is shy in first introductions. Taking things slow would work best for Kade, but not long after, he’ll be following you around the house, tail wagging. He isn’t a biter, mostly a chewer, but even doing that doesn’t cause any damage. Kade’s in the works of potty-training, but is learning like a champ. He’s quite vocal too, and doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long hours during the day. Otherwise you’ll be hearing a Mozart piece in the form of puppy howls. A dog friend, or someone who works from home, would make him feel so much happier. More happier than he already is, of course, and that’s already a bunch of happy. Kade came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Kade is a growing Golden Retriever/Redbone Coonhound/mix pup who was born approximately 1-21-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
