Hi, my name is Kami. I came from a breeder but they 'retired' me. I am learning that love, attention, and human touch are amazing. So much so, that I sometimes worry it will go away and I will never get to experience it again. I love to do zoomies in the backyard with my foster brother and I am speedy fast. When I get excited or want your attention I will dance on my hind legs. I will kennel for short periods if you have to be away but I truly feel safest when I can follow you through the house and sleep in the same bed as you at night. I am polishing up my house training skills and my foster parents say leash training is up next. They have been very patient with me and allowing me to adjust to human interaction and touch. I have also started to be interested in the toys throughout the house and have discovered how fun they can also be. So far, I prefer toys with ribbons/tags or ones that crinkle. My ideal home would be a calm environment with someone that would be around most of the day. I need reassurance and the feeling of security so I can continue to develop my trust of humans. A doggy brother or sister to play with would be a bonus. If you are looking for a constant companion and have patience and love to give so I can blossom, I'm your gal! Kami is a female Cavapoo, weighs 15 lbs and was born 5-14-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
