Katya is an active and playful young pup who’s starting to come into her own after a tough start. She’s still a little unsure around people, but with each passing day, she’s growing more confident and curious—she’s even begun wagging her tail when held and will jump up to greet you if you play it cool. While she’s not always ready for pets just yet, she’s making steady progress and showing great potential with a patient, understanding approach. Katya loves spending time with her big foster sisters and has a lively (sometimes competitive!) friendship with her buddy Serge. She’s working on housetraining, doing better with kennel training - often making it four hours - and is still learning the joy of toys, though sticks have quickly become her favorite find. With time, love, and a gentle hand, Katya is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
Katya is a growing female Husky/Black Mouth Cur/Terrier mix who was was born approximately 1-19-25. Dad is a purebred red/white Siberian Husky. Mom is a Black Mouth Cur/Terrier mix. She is spayed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
