KAYLA – Adoption Promotion!

Kayla is turning out to be an Olympian in charm and affection. She’s a great companion, very lively, and longs to be part of whatever you're doing. Enjoys everything from chasing ball, zooming around the yard in racetrack style to quietly sitting at your feet…and of course, treats. She appears a darker color in the shade and a more brindle color in the bright sunshine, pretty any way you look at her. Kayla is blooming daily. This loving girl is a fast learner, house and leash trained, lively, fun, and energetic she wants nothing more than to win your heart. A few of Kayla's favorite things….. squirrel watching and bone chewing. This well-mannered young lady is patiently waiting to be loved in a forever home. This girl is very loyal and protective and is an excellent guard dog.  It is strongly recommended that Kayla is adopted into a home with a secure fenced yard as she is not the kind of girl who would be content in a kennel all day. Medium on the energy scale, she would make a great walking or jogging buddy. Kayla has anxiety when you’re away, but leaving her in a large crate with her chew toys is the key. She likes her crate.  She would probably be best in a single-dog home with older children. Most of all what she wants is a forever home… it’s number one on her wish list!

Kayla is a Mountain Cur/Whippet mix, weighs 40 lbs and was born approximately 6-21-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee reduced to $200 as a part of our "Home for the Holidays" adoption promotion. Adoption fees help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
