My name is Kenji; I may have short legs but that doesn’t stop me. I figure a way to do what I need to do. My bossy sister Kinley tries to make me do what she wants but most the time I do me. She is a little more assertive when it comes to me, but when it comes to people, I trust them more. Kinley and I love to play in the yard, and chew sticks and jump on each other. They say we are part beagle and part basset, but my foster Mom says I walk like a Dachshund, not sure what that means but I have found she is usually right about most things. She giggles when I walk and jiggle my back end. I love to crouch now in wait for my sister and pounce on her. I am looking for my own family to love and charm, and to always feel safe.   Kenji is a Beagle/Bassett/Heinz 57 mix, weighs 12 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 4/13/2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
