**Due to the amazing amount of interest in adopting Kennedy, we are no longer taking applications or responding to inquiries on her, please look through our list of other available pets waiting to find their forever home.** My name is Kennedy, I love to ruff house with my sister Keeley, sometimes she is ignoring me so I jump on her. I love to be outside. My foster siblings are way bigger than us, but we really want to play with them. I am working hard on potty training and getting better every day. I can go 3 maybe 4 hours without an accident in my kennel. I sometimes like to pretend I don’t hear when my name is being called, because I like to do things on my own thing. I will cuddle with you if you pick me up, but I love to play as much as I can. Kennedy would love to go to puppy classes and learn some great manners and how to have fun being a puppy with a new family. Aussie’s can grow into higher energy and are quick learners so classes would be ideal. And, it helps with bonding too! This breed is known for herding so they may try herding small children or other animals. If you are concerned about that or herd nipping as they grow up, please consider another breed of dog. Check our profiles for dogs are good with children or are not herding breeds. Kennedy is a female Australian Shepherd/Irish Setter mix who was born approximately 3-1-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
