NOW INTRODUCING! Part dog, part bat (just check out those ears); clocking in at just under 15 pounds, the small but mighty ME, Kiamichi!! Hello there! Are you searching for a combination of salty, spicy, and sweet (yes, in that order) all in a compact and irresistibly cute package? Well here I am! My start to life wasn’t the greatest, but I sure am persistent and pretty soon I found my way to Dolly’s Legacy. You better believe I made myself right at home as soon as I met my foster family. I love having a yard, my very own bed, and of course lots of toys! I’m learning all sorts of new words like “sit” and “kennel”, but “no” isn’t quite in my vocabulary yet 🙂 Although I’m small now, I’ve got some growing to do and will likely be medium sized as an adult. I love rough housing with the resident dogs who are much bigger than me, but their size doesn’t intimidate me. In fact, I use it to my advantage and run through small spaces where they don’t fit when we’re playing chase. I’m a little ashamed to admit I have gotten stuck in the sofa cover *several times* but I’m still figuring this house stuff out. I love going on walks and really just want to be wherever you are. After plenty of exercise, I love to cuddle up for naps.  Kiamichi and her two brothers, Hachi & River, were witnessed being dumped at the Kiamichi River in Oklahoma, the 3 pups ran as fast as they could for as long as they could after the car who left them. The good samaritan reached out to Dolly's Legacy and we agreed to save these 3 abandoned orphans. The 'River Pups' are Patterdale Terrier/Border Collie mix pups born approximately 2-14-20. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
